Alanna Marcelletti’s mixed media works straddle painting and sculpture. Her pieces focus on the experiences of womanhood by looking at both societal norms and inner monologue.
Alanna received her MFA from Cal State Long Beach. Her work was included in the show Insights at the University Art Museum in 2015, and she was awarded the Marilyn Werby Scholarship in 2014. She actively participated in the curating of GLAMFA, Greater Los Angeles MFA, from 2012 to 2014. She was a founding member of BLAM and currently works with Durden and Ray. Presently, she resides and works in Los Angeles.
